This branding project was inspired by my own Whiskey Book Club. Every other week, my friends and I would get together, enjoy a nice whiskey, and read short stories aloud to each other. It was such a relaxing and nice time that I decided to create a brand for the group.
My goal was to make the brand special, almost like a secret society. I was inspired by classic whiskey labels and retro library cards, but wanted to keep the brand modern and clean.
Taking the project one step further, I created a subscription box for the club. This would allow other groups to start their own Whiskey Book Clubs! I designed the subscription box and labels, keeping in mind the experience of opening the box. I wanted people to feel like this was a special product, and transport them to a relaxing atmosphere.
Considering where people would subscribe to the Whiskey Book Club, I designed a website. The website features the most recent pairing available, and gives the audience the information they need to join the club.
